Apple recently posted that they have launched a refresh of the 27 inch iMac. The latest model will have a number of upgrades, such as a faster Intel processor, the capacity to get 128GB of RAM, T2 chip, a 1080p webcam, True Tone display, nano coating on the display and more.
Those who are interested can make the purchase at Apple.com starting today. The prices for the refreshed 27 inch iMac begin at $1,799, with upgrade options for Nano-Texture glass at $500 and an increase of up to 8TB in SSD storage and 128GB of RAM. The product will appear on Apple Authorized Resellers and Apple Store locations next week.
The refreshed version will have the same design as the 2012 model. In similar news, Apple has announced that the iMac Pro will be getting the Xeon W 10 core processor as part of its base configuration. All 21.5 inch iMacs will have SSDs as a standard and the Fusion Drive as an optional add-on.
