We all know what it’s like at the office when you have to daily sit for hours on end. It’s easy to forget how to correctly hold your posture, leading to all sorts of pains. Well, Akko has you covered – allow us to introduce the brand new ergonomic alice layout keyboard, the Akko ACR Pro Alice Plus.

About the layout and the keyboard

You are probably wondering: “How is this layout supposed to help me?” The answer is simple – when we sit, our arms go naturally at an angle. Often enough to use a normal keyboard, a lot of people will bend out their wrists into an unnatural position to type on their keyboard. The alice in concepted in such a way to mitigate this, and allow the wrists to rest at a comfortable angle.

The Alice Plus is of course no ordinary keyboard. This keyboard is fully per key RGB capable and is supported by Akko Cloud Driver, which is available for both MacOS and Windows platforms. This means that if you do not like the position of a key, you can easily adjust it without a hassle. It is also Macro capable, for when you need to shorten your tasks with a single key press. For a nice sound, the keyboard uses Akko CS Crystal switches, which are linear full transparent switches.

To make sure you are fully equipped, in the box you will find a detachable USB-C cable, the manual, an additional polycarbonate plate, a keycap puller, a hex screwdriver, a switch puller, stick-on adjustable acrylic keyboard feet and a whopping full set of Akko’s ASA BOW keycaps, for when you’d like to use the set on a different keyboard instead.

The build details

To make sure the keyboard sounds great out of the box, we have made sure to use the best materials we could while retaining the keyboard at an affordable cost. The stabilizers are Akko’s newest generation plate mount stabilizers. They include a special layer inside of the stems to provide cushioning for the wire and thus reduce any chance of rattle. If you would however like to use different stabilizers, you will be glad to find that the keyboard fully supports screw-in stabilizers as well. In such case you would need to get 5 2U size stabilizers. Besides this, you will also be nicely surprised to find poron plate foam, a silicone switch film and a EVA case dampener for a more unified sound without hollowness.

If you are interested in the Akko ACR Pro Alice Plus, we will be more than happy to further assist you at support-de@akkogear.com. Alternatively if you are sure you’d like to make your purchase already, you can check it out.
