Those who are looking to stretch their money in tech upgrades should consider which ones offer the best improvement. If you only have limited resources, here are the first devices you should think about.
Smartphone
Smartphones or mobile phones are indispensable tech tools that we all rely on on a daily basis. You can’t shop, call, message your friends and family and see what they’re up to without it. Alternatively, you won’t be able to pass time playing GClub games, or watch your favorite show while you’re on the go.
It’s recommended that you upgrade every three or four years, or when your device starts to exhibit problems, such as constantly running out of battery or having dents and physical damage.
Internet and Router
In the same vein as mobile phones, you really won’t be able to do much offline. If you find yourself slowed down with your current internet speed or router, then it’s definitely time for an upgrade.
Internet speed and router go both ways, and if you’re going to upgrade one then you should also improve the other. You don’t have to get the latest router model or the fastest internet speed from your provider- as long as you can browse or stream comfortably and your router supports the speed, then it should be fine.
Computer
Computers are another essential all-in-one multi use device that can do a lot of things. You can work, create art, play games and connect on social media or friends via videoconference apps. If your old computer starts to slow down, or if the specifications are not enough for running software you use on a regular basis, then it’s time to upgrade.
The good news is that relatively mid-end machines are affordable, and they should last you several years before you need to upgrade again.
