Samsung has announced that they will be selling a 5G enabled A51 in the US next week. Currently, the non-5G version is priced at $400, but the 5G version is expected to be priced at $500 and will work with Verizon and T-Mobile’s 5G networks.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is considered a midrange phone with a rear quad camera setup and a huge 6.5 inch OLED Infinity display with FHD+ resolution. It also has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a hefty 4,000 mAh battery. Its processor is an Exynos 9611 and it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The 5G technology works with Metro and T-Mobile, and will be available on the 5G millimeter-wave network of Verizon, the same one that works with the Samsung Galaxy S20.
5G networks are expanding in the US. Recently, T-Mobile mentioned that they will be expanding theirs by 30% by August 7.
